Yes, OpenRTK330 can be used as a low-cost base station. There is some setup that is required.

Is the OpenRTK330 unit capable of running as an RTK base station similar to the U-Blox M9?

Yes, OpenIMU300RI does have termination resistance. But not thru via RS232 port.
You can change in source code, Download Any application Source code in Visual Code, then Go to UserConfiguration.c file, then change .canTermResistorEnabled = 1
Then upload it to unit.

wonder wether the OpenIMU300RI does have a termination resistance integrated, which can be enabled and disabled via the RS232 port, like the MTLT305D/M does?
